Welcome to the only web site on planet Earth owned and operated by an imaginary dog.  Everyone calls him Chico but his full name is Id. Chico Zane — the Id. denoting that he's an Imaginary dog.  Chico invites you to imagine that he is real.  Most importantly, he hopes that every visitor to this site realizes that imagining is the first step to making dreams come true.  He accepts no responsibility for anyone imagining and dreaming more as a result of your visit.

This site allows owners of both non-pedigreed and pedigreed dogs to register them as members of the 8th Breed; a breed called Utilitarian. This category was created by Chico and his buddy Rolph, the next door neighbor's dog.  Dogs belonging to the 8th Breed are more valuable than dogs found in the other seven official dog categories as defined by the American Kennel Club and other U.S. and international clubs.  The only criterion for a dog belonging to the 8th Breed is their ability to provide unconditional love at all times.  Lineage, looks and behavior, be it prim and proper or naughty, are of no consequence.

Chico suggests you buy his book Chico Tails: Notches on a Leash to better understand how he thinks and acts.  Go to StarPublish.com and look under authors for Sam Zane to see a picture of the cover and read what the book is all about.  The blurbs do not say much because Chico is shy when it comes to boasting about his faculties—meaning his mental and physical powers rather than his staff of professors.  Chico would be a famous author but his ghostwriter, Sam Zane, stinks—meaning he writes poorly rather than he does not bathe on a regular basis.  Don't worry, it gets worse in the book.  This book is an example of what can happen if children  do not  pay attention in school and is a must for parents.
